Leadership & Organizations
MIS Club
During the fall of 2013, I served as a Membership Officer for the MIS Club at my university. Our mission was to serve as a hub for IT professionals by delivering relevant business and technology education, connecting members through networking events and information sessions, and hosting workshops for members to hone their technical and analytical skills.
My specific goal was to increase membership of the organization through management of the membership registration process. I also designed several flyers for various MIS events. Through our team's efforts , our organization size grew to exceed 200 professionals and I was promoted to serve as the Membership Team Lead at the end of the 2013 academic year. |
